Is the front axle original from Volvo, or har the chassies been modified along the road?

It`s an original product from Volvo, only a handfull were buildt for the army

Were they sold to many countries? Or just to Holland? Cant remember that the Swedish army had any of those.

Think I have seen a 4X4 F88 once before, but can´t remember where.
But an interesting vehicle.

Might have been. I have only looked in it once long time ago.
I wonder if it i the same frontaxle as in the N86 and 4854?

The red/yellow F88 was new sold to the English army stationed in Germany, i believed the used to have 3 of these trucks, one returned tot the UK.

F88 6x6.
I have seen some as firetrucks on the airports. With Allison automatic gearbox. And they hade a specially "gadget" soo they could take out some extra horsepowers but only fore a few seconds.
