I remember I have seen an English Volvo FB88 with trailer in vestGermany at the midle of 60:th. As such a combination was very rare I asked the drivers, yes they were two, why it's so rare with real trailers. If I remember right they told me that the regulations state that they hade to be two drivers of such a combination and the truck has to be equipped with an extra set of brake regulations in front of the passenger seat. That truck operator was specialised on continent transports so that was the reason for this special combination design. Is this anything you have heard about?
