my name is sebastian and i'am from germany. Unfortunately these old trucks became very rare in Germany. After having surfed through the internet i finally found this page. I would be glad if someone could offer me such a truck or give me informations about dealers, persons who want to sell their trucks and any other adress that could be usefull for finding a truck. These informations could help me by planing a trip to sweden norway and finland.

Hi Sebastian!
Why not Scania 76 ?
They where at same time as Volvo F88.
Or you are just intrested in models with cabin over engine?
OK, the Scania LB76 is such a model also but you can't tip the the cabin to make the engine free.

Else if you also are interested in normal models (engine in front of cabin) erlier models of BeGe cabins (up to -67) have cabins that are not integrated with the "torped". Those cabins are about 50 mm more width than later ones and the doors are more flat. In my opinion they make a more robust impression than the later design.

Lite smått OT, men jag ser ju hellre en snyggt upprenoverad Scania eller Volvo på kontinenten än bakdelen hängades efter någon traktor.
Tyvärr är det alldeles för många bilar som kapats till traktorkärror
Men jag håller med dig. Ser helst att våra historiska fordon stannar i landet.

Obs,Anders..se de inte som nåt påhopp,skrev kanske lite tokigt,men du har helt rätt du med,dom blir ju ruskigt fina bilarna i Holland,men tycker de synd dom försvinner,,,,,,,,,,,,ps,har precis hittat absoluta drömbilen,en bra Scania T-141 med tippflak på snabblås.....

Men visst är det trist att alla fina bilar försvinner ur landet.

Man undrar ju hur det kommer att se ut om säg 10 år? Kommer bilar som Scania 140 och Volvo F12:or vara väldigt sällsynt?
