The LT75 exists and LT76 , I do know that there is significant differences between the Tandem of the LT76 and the LA82. I also know that the 110 had 4.93:1 Tandem axels, but I don't know if the LT76 / 75 ever had the 4.93:1 available, and if it is possible to change them to the LA82 LT75 LT76... I am seriously considering putting 4.93:1 in the LA82 for longer distances.

I continue on this tread with following ponderings and questions about use of tandem: I have discovered when use tandem they runs tough even when the truck not is loaded. For example one observe that the rear axles become orderly lukewarm despite it is winter, several degrees below zero and it should be relatively cold in the wind of the speed. That ought to mean one waste more of diesel than what is necessary when running on tandem. Is the cause I have an old truck or is it so here on more modern trucks too?
Philippe, did you notice that phenomena on your truck too? Is there little oil in the drive shaft?

I know there is LT75 1962 and I know there is the LA82 1961. I will get some brochures from the 75 before 1960, and I hope to see the LT or no LT option available. I should get those within the next 2 weeks.
Per Thomson skrev:In a printed specification about civil Scania models it states that both LT75 and LT76 has rear gear RD82. That sorce don't tell about gearings. However I have a broschure for LT76 that states optitional gearings are 4,97:1 or 5,96:1. I don't know if we can trust this, it sounds a little bit strange for me as RD82 are a double gear and the ordinary double gears for LS76 are 4.93:1 or 5,91:1(RD75). Perhaps someone from Scania is reading this and can send us a comment.
