Vad är årsmodel av detta Scania ? 1972 ?

Jag skulle vilja säga allt mellan 1969 -1972. 1968 års 110:a hade små bokstäver/siffror i fronten. 1973 flyttade strålkastarna upp i grillen. Den har iofs de större backspeglarna men det kan ju ha bytts ut..

Om jag ska gissa? 1971

Inte äldre än -72, eftersom det är rangelådan i den. Dock inte den vansinniga första växelspaksknoppen, men den kan ju vara bytt. Så 1972 eller -73. 1974 var första årsmodellen med runda lyktor ovanför kofångarn.

Ratten med det utseendet kom väl inte förrän på 111-an?

Bilen bör vara -72 eller -73, ratten är en modifiering eller möjligen modernisering.

Ni har säkert rätt! Jag tittar bara på, det jag kan, utsidan och insidan har jag dålig koll på. Hösten 1973 presenterades uppdateringar för program Scania så 1974 gällde de förändringarna, bland annat, strålkastarnas placering.

Another question (sorry guys, my swedish is not that good I can write => switch to english): This Scania has the hub reduction (not single-drive shaft) ==> how is the gear ratio ?
- I did hear rumours: 80 km/h means 2000 rpm ?
==> is it really so or is the ration same as with single-drive ? The shaft itself is spinning 3 times faster, but the rear gear should compensate this ?
What is your general opinion of hub reduction: worth to buy OR forget this truck because of this hub reduction ?

That´s depends of Your intention with the truck, I have been told that all SCANIA with hub reduction has 3,50:1 ratio in rear, and I think it´s the truth.
What we do when this trucks was common and we want a faster truck was ass follow, demont the hub cover and weld the sprockel as they can´t move, put the cover back and You have a 3,50 reduktion.

You can also demont the whole hub reduktion and replace it with a special hub cap wich is bolted in the hub and the drive shafts splines fitting in the cap. The problem is to find this cap today.

The last alternative is to change the rear axle, it´s no big deal.

Originally it was 5:39 or 4:79 in those. Top speed 82 km/h, or 92 km/h. 5:39 was the most used, I think.
